About the Event
This year's arrival of spring will be marked at the Vič Center by a unique, spatially specific artistic installation by internationally renowned Slovenian artist Eva Petrič.
From the start of spring (opening on March 20 at 5 pm) until April 20, 2025, this versatile artist, who lives and creates between Slovenia, Vienna and New York in the media of photography, video, sound, performance and installations, will present part of her renown lace installations at all three entrances to the Vič Center and in its central part. These have been exhibited in public spaces in different parts of the world, from the famous St. Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna, to the UN General Assembly in New York and the third largest cathedral in the world, St. John the Divine in New York, from the Borges Cultural Center in Buenos Aires to the Biwako Biennale in Japan, from the underground of Postojna Cave to the…
