"The conceptual intermedia artist Eva Petrič presents a wide variety of creative works ranging from photography, video, installation and performance to design, literature and singing, with photography being the basis of most of her projects. In her works, she mostly uses her own body, which appears either in material form, as an image of the physical body, or in immaterial form, as shadow images – intangible traces of bodily presence that are not part of the real world as we cannot touch or grasp them, except metaphorically. The oscillation between the spiritual and the physical, the material and the immaterial, the visible and the invisible, the figurative and the abstract is also the leitmotif of the present exhibition TRANSapPARENT, which combines photographic works created over the last decade..."
